Well, we have been busy with our wheat harvest that should wrap up tomorrow!! We are having a very good crop and with high wheat prices....well, let's just say we are thankful especially after last year's harvest was totally drowned out by too much rain. I will post some harvest pics.. Mary is in Europe, mainly France and Italy, for 3 weeks. I have talked to her twice and she is having fun fun fun!! Will post more later.

Summer.....

Okay, so it has been another couple of months since I posted anything at all and we have had a lot going on this Spring. The pictures are sort of in reverse order so bear with me...

This is my new car I bought two days ago...It is a Toyota Prius and will get some great gas mileage for me since there will be a lot of traveling this summer/fall to and from the kids activities.

Another shot of the car...

Grace had her first softball game last night. They lost but Grace sure looked cute batting!

Running towards second base

Sliding into home to score a run!!

Just the kids going for a ride on the four wheeler. The object behind them is an old tire rim that we use to build bonfires in in the driveway.

Hawaii was great! Here we are about to climb up Diamond Head on the Island of Oahu.

Thats me sitting in the chair at Ke'e Beach on the north shore of Kauai.

Brad golfed quite a bit. Here is a shot of him at Poipu Bay on the southern coast of Kauai.

Here is Brad finishing up snorkeling at Tunnels Beach on the north shore of Kauai. This is the same beach where the cute little blonde surfer had her armed ripped off by a shark several years ago.

Braden (a freshman) went to the the Jr/Sr. Prom this year with senior Skyler Wencel. They had a great time.

Braden played Donkey Basketball the day we returned from Hawaii. It was a real fun time.

Mary doing the Long Jump. She jumed 16' 1" and was the league champion!

Braden doing the 110 m high hurdles. He ended up qualifing for the state track meet and took 11th place!

Grace high jumped this year in her first year in middle school track. She did good all season and her highest jump was 4' 2".

In loving memory...

Brad's father, Ernie Lebeda, and my father-in-law, passed away last Friday, January 4th ,after a fatal stroke. His funeral was Tuesday, January 8th. He was 75 and was the "King" of our family. He will be missed so much...

Ernie flew his flag proudly every day of the year. We now fly it at half mast.
